Heirs Life Assurance has appointed Pastor Jerry Eze as an Independent Non-Executive Director on its Board. The appointment takes effect from Monday, August 10, 2026.
Heirs Life Assurance operates as the specialist life insurance arm of Heirs Insurance Group.
The company said Eze’s appointment will support its efforts to expand financial inclusion across Nigeria.
It will also help strengthen public trust and improve consumer understanding of insurance products.
Pastor Jerry Eze: Appointment targets greater insurance inclusion
Nigeria’s insurance penetration remains below one percent despite its large economy.
Therefore, Heirs Life wants to make financial protection more accessible to Nigerians.
Eze brings extensive experience in community engagement, leadership and social development.
He founded and leads Streams of Joy International Ministry, which operates 29 branches globally.
The ministry has branches across West Africa, Southern Africa, Europe and North America.

He also founded New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD). The digital prayer platform reaches millions of people worldwide every day.
Beyond ministry, Eze leads the Jerry Eze Foundation, which supports vulnerable communities.

The foundation provides housing assistance and grants to underserved people.
In 2026, Eze announced $300,000 in grants for young entrepreneurs. The grants target entrepreneurs working in agriculture, technology and manufacturing.
Pastor Jerry Eze brings business and development experience
Before entering full-time ministry, Eze worked in development communications. He served as a Communications Specialist on a World Bank HIV/AIDS programme.
He also worked with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Eze holds a History and International Relations degree from Abia State University. He also earned a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from ESUT.
