President of the United States, Donald Trump threatened to sue South African Grammy host and comedian Trevor Noah over a joke he made during the Grammy Awards. The six-time Grammy host made a joke about Jeffrey Epstein and Trump.
Trevor Noah’s Joke
Talking about his last time being a Grammy host and the Song of the Year award, Trevor said, “Song of the Year—that is a Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense because Epstein’s island is gone; he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.”
Trump’s Response
Trump didn’t take this joke easily, as he went on his platform, Truth Social, to issue a threat to the South African comedian.

“Noah, a total loser, better get his facts straight and get them straight fast. ” It looks like I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless dope of an M.C. and suing him for plenty,” he said.

He went further to remind Trevor he won’t be the first, and most likely not the last. “Ask little George Slopadopolus and others how all that worked out. Also ask CBS! Get ready, Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!”
Trump is known to have been an associate of Jeffrey Epstein, but the president has consistently said he knew nothing of his crimes and that they fell out in 2004, thereby suing Trevor Noah for defamation.
“Noah said INCORRECTLY about me that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on the Epstein Island. WRONG!!! I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to the Epstein Island, not anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the fake news media.”
Jeffrey Edward Epstein was an American financier, child sex offender, serial rapist, and human trafficker who died in his jail cell on August 10, 2019, while awaiting trial. A death that was ruled as suicide by hanging by a New York City medical examiner.
Since gaining worldwide recognition, Donald Trump has been in the media and is known for suing media houses like the BBC, CNN, and the New York Times for billions of dollars, and the South African comedian is the most recent in his list.
Trevor has yet to respond to the threat from the US president.
