Soso Soberekon, a Nigerian music executive and businessman, has intervened in the prolonged feud between the P-Square twin brothers.
In one of Peter’s recent shows, Soberekon put up a phone in the crowd, displaying a black-and-white message that read:
“500 million Naira to fight your twin in a boxing match.”
In Soberekon’s fashion, this is an offer to the brothers to settle their differences in a professional boxing match instead of their continued online family feud.
According to the proposal making rounds on social media, whoever wins the match would be declared “the bigger person” and would receive a formal public apology from the loser.

The P-Square Twins Family Feud
This offer by Soberekon comes amid renewed tensions between the P-Square twins and the Okoye family at large.
Peter has accused his twin brother, Paul, and elder brother, Jude Okoye, of diverting music royalties meant for the group. The allegations have escalated to legal proceedings, including an Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) case. There have also been a series of public statements and social media exchanges that have further strained relationships.
The P-Square twins’ fight call is not the first time Soso Sobrekon will inject money into entertainment drama through celebrity boxing matches. In recent years, he has made similar offers, including:
- ₦20 million for a rematch between Portable and Speed Darlington
- ₦ 120 million (N100m for the winner, N20m for the loser) for a Portable vs VeryDarkMan fight
As of now, neither Peter nor Paul has publicly accepted the challenge.
Fans have reacted to the proposal with criticism and scepticism. Many users have dismissed the idea as insensitive and inappropriate. They’ve questioned why a family feud should be settled in a boxing ring for an amount of money. Some others see it as attention-seeking showmanship.
