The dispute between P-Square’s Peter Okoye and his brothers Paul and Jude Okoye has escalated significantly, with each new video from Peter bringing fresh financial allegations, and the other side now responding publicly for the first time.
Here is a full breakdown of where things stand.

In his ongoing video series, Peter released what he described as a breakdown from P-Square’s group bank statements, alleging that an agreement to share funds equally wasn’t honoured.
According to Peter, a secret account containing $1,925,000 was discovered, and he alleges Jude took the entire amount without disclosure. In a separate account holding $368,950, he claims Jude received $211,650, Paul $78,650, and he received just $41,800. In naira terms, Jude allegedly took ₦19 million, Paul ₦10 million, and Peter says he received nothing from that naira portion.
On the Ecobank account, he claims $1.7 million was distributed, with Jude receiving $1.2 million, Paul $473,000, and Peter $236,800.
‘And you expect me not to fight for my rights? Should I wait until I become depressed?’ he said in the video.
The ‘Northside’ Companies
The company structure around the P-Square brand has also drawn scrutiny. X user Da’ Jamal.23 laid out what he described as a confusing web of entities: Northside Entertainment, said to belong to three people; Northside Music, linked to Jude and his wife; and Northside Inc., linked to Jude alone. He argued it was questionable for Jude and his wife to create separate companies using the Northside name when the original was jointly owned, with Jude’s wife allegedly holding 80 per cent of one of those entities.
$1.2M in Royalties and the EFCC Petition
Earlier in his video series, Peter alleged that after the 2021 reunion, he was removed as a signatory from some of the group’s accounts. He claimed that over $1.2 million in royalties were moved through Northside Music Limited without his approval or knowledge. He clarified that his EFCC petition was directed at Northside Music rather than Paul personally, and said he was seeking financial transparency, not a public war.
The ‘Fake Psquare Reunion’ Claim
In Part 1 of his video series, Peter made a claim that reframed the entire 2021 P-Square comeback. He said the reunion was never real; at least not in the way fans understood it.
‘That reunion was fake. I never wanted P-Square back. All I wanted was for the brothers to come back as family,’ he said, alleging that Paul pushed to revive the music group while Peter had only wanted personal reconciliation.
He also credited their eldest brother Henry Okoye with supporting P-Square during the group’s formative years.

The Psquare Atlanta House and the Death Threat
Part 5 of Peter’s series moved the dispute to the United States. He alleged that in 2014, he and Paul reached an agreement that Peter would keep their Atlanta property while Paul would receive a ₦30 million balancing payment. The issue resurfaced, he says, when a realtor informed him the house was being sold without his consent.
He alleged a backstage confrontation in which Jude attempted to slap him and that he was subsequently presented with papers to sign the property over to Jude’s wife, Ifeoma, which he refused.
He also alleged that Jude issued a death threat, which he says was recorded and which took place while Paul was present. He further alleged Paul slapped him during the same incident.

Jude, Paul and Ifeoma Response
After staying quiet through the first four videos, Jude Okoye responded with a video titled ‘Debunking the Lies.’
He denied Peter’s allegations and said many of the matters raised were already before the courts. He insisted that Peter remained a signatory to the relevant accounts and rejected the claim of royalty diversion outright. He also revealed that his own bank accounts and passport had been frozen for over two years as a result of the ongoing case, and accused Peter of avoiding court appearances despite initiating the legal process himself.
‘Peter, you know the court is not going in your favour. This issue has been trashed by EFCC. Why are you running from court? They’ve frozen my account for over two years. I can’t even travel. You’re trying to blackmail me,’ Jude said.
Ifeoma Okoye addressed the Atlanta property allegations without directly naming Peter, writing: ‘I have no desire to defend myself before those who are committed to misunderstanding me. Truth does not need manipulation to prevail, and I trust God to vindicate what is right.’
Paul’s management team, Fire Department Inc., issued a statement confirming they were aware of the online conversation but wouldn’t participate in an exchange of allegations. ‘We believe personal and family matters are best handled with dignity and respect,’ the statement read. ‘Rudeboy remains focused on his music and grateful for fan support. We ask the public to avoid speculation and rely on verified information.’
Where Things Stand
Peter is publicly demanding accountability over royalties, company accounts, and property. Jude and Ifeoma have denied the allegations and say the matters belong in court. Paul’s team is staying out of the public back-and-forth.
With Northside now linked to three separate entities and new bank figures being aired in public, the Okoye family dispute shows no sign of reaching a quiet resolution anytime soon.
