Nollywood actress, director and producer Toyin Abraham has taken to social media to encourage herself and pray over her life. She posted the message after she took legal action against what she calls misleading narratives online.
On Friday 6 November, she shared a caption on social media in which she prophesied greatness over her career and asked for God’s blessings.
Toyin Abraham says “No One Will Take My Place”
The actress opened the caption by naming herself and declaring her place in the industry. “Emi OLUWATOYIN, NO ONE will take my place, and no one will stop what God has ordained for my life,” she wrote. “I shall keep rising, soaring higher and moving forward.” 
“I will not fall, I will not fail, I will not be shaken, and I will not be defeated,” she declared. “My light will not go dim, my voice will not be silenced, and my glory will not be exchanged,” she vows to push on despite opposition.
Toyin Abraham Prayer Against Her Critics
Toyin says she will keep rising, however hard people try to talk down her and her projects. She also prays that her light never dims and that nobody silences her voice.
“GOD is my shield, my strength, my defender and my ever-present help,” she wrote. “I SHALL RISE, I SHALL WIN, AND I SHALL FINISH STRONG. My best days are not behind me. In Jesus’ mighty name. AMEN!,” she closed the post with a declaration of faith.

The Legal Warning Behind the Post
Toyin posted the message after she issued a cease and desist order to blogs and social media users. She says they have published false content about her, and she cautioned them to stop spreading propaganda.

The December Rivalry
The tension did not start overnight. Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele both release their films in cinemas every December, and their fans routinely clash online. Supporters of each actress troll one another and try to talk down the other’s upcoming projects, and the rivalry grows louder as the festive season approaches.
