The long-running dispute between Peter Okoye and his elder brother, Jude Okoye, has taken another turn after Peter released a video explaining why he reported his former manager to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In the video, Peter revisited the financial disagreements that followed P-Square’s reunion in 2021. He alleged that he later discovered he was no longer a signatory to the group’s accounts and questioned how royalties from the group’s music catalogue were managed. He also claimed repeated requests for financial records did not produce the answers he sought, leading him to involve the EFCC.

Jude Rejects the Allegations

Jude responded with a video in which he challenged Peter’s account of events.

He denied diverting royalties and disputed claims that he withheld information about the group’s finances. He also addressed several of Peter’s allegations individually, including questions surrounding royalty payments and a transaction Peter referenced in his video.

To support his response, Jude provided documents, payment records and screenshots, which contradicted Peter’s version of events. He maintained that financial decisions followed agreements reached while the group was still active.

Cynthia Morgan Shares Her Experience

The exchange drew a response from singer Cynthia Morgan, who previously signed to Jude’s Northside Entertainment.

In an Instagram post, she described herself as “a living witness” and accused Jude of cyberbullying, intimidation and releasing private conversations. She also alleged that her experience under the label reflected some of the concerns now being discussed publicly.

Although Cynthia did not directly address Peter’s video, her post came shortly after Jude released his response and added another voice to the renewed public conversation.

The Okoye Dispute Continues

The latest videos add another chapter to a dispute that has remained unresolved since P-Square’s second split.

The disagreement has extended beyond social media and into court, where Jude continues to face charges linked to the alleged diversion of music royalties. He has denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty.

Neither Peter nor Jude has indicated that they intend to resolve the matter privately, with both men continuing to defend their positions publicly.
