What’s The Cause of the PSquare Feud?

The group dominated African pop music in the 2000s and early 2010s, producing several hit songs before internal disagreements tore them apart.

Their first major split became public in 2015 after management disagreements involving their elder brother, Jude Okoye, who managed their business affairs.

By 2017, the group officially disbanded, and both brothers pursued solo careers as Mr P and Rudeboy.

However, the twins reunited in November 2021 in an emotional moment that thrilled fans across Africa and beyond.

They marked their reunion with joint appearances, performances, and new music releases, although the renewed partnership struggled to match their earlier commercial success.

Despite the reunion, underlying tensions resurfaced, including disagreements over financial transparency, royalty management, and corporate structures tied to their music catalogue.

Peter later alleged irregularities in their former management structure, which sparked renewed public debate and legal action involving members of the Okoye family. This situation further complicated public perception of their once-celebrated musical collaboration.
