Nollywood actress Judy Austin has filed a separate writ of summons against veteran actress Rita Edochie, Yul Edochie’s aunt and her ex-husband, Emmanuel Obasi.
Austin, who is the second wife of actor Yul Edochie, is asking Rita, her aunt-in-law, to publish a full and unconditional apology and retraction on her social media pages and in a national newspaper.
Through her lawyers, Austin is also asking the court to stop Rita from making further defamatory statements against her. 
She requested for:
1. The sum of N1, 000, 000, 000.00 (One Billion Naira) only, as general damages for defamation.
2. An order compelling the Defendant to publish a full, unreserved retraction and apology to the Claimant in at least two (2) widely circulated National Newspapers, as well as on all her Social Media Platforms.
3. Order of Perpetual Injunction restraining the Defendant, her agents, and privies from further publishing or circulating the defamatory statements against the Claimant.
4. An Order, directing the Defendant to take down all defamatory statements made by her against the Claimant on all her online Platforms.
AN ORDER directing the Defendant to pay the Claimant, the sum of Fifi Tillion Naira (N50, 000,000.00) only, as costs of prosecuting this suit
6. 10% post judgment interest from the date of judgment to the date of the final liquidation of the judgment sum.
She is demanding N50 million in damages and a 10 per cent post-judgment interest. Austin is also asking the court to order Rita to remove any similar statements she has already published.

Judy Austin Files N1bn Suit Against Ex-Husband Emmanuel Obasi
Austin has also filed a N1 billion lawsuit against her former husband, Emmanuel Obasi, over their long-running public dispute.
Obasi has accused Austin of having a relationship with Yul Edochie while she was still married to him.
Austin has repeatedly denied the allegations. She said her marriage to Obasi ended in 2013 and denied having an intimate relationship with Yul Edochie during their marriage.
After the two parties publicly exchanged accusations, Austin has taken the matter to court and is asking the court to decide the dispute. She is seeking N1 billion in damages from her ex husband.
