Gerard has left the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) house after six weeks, and many viewers are still trying to pin down exactly where he stood.
The 23-year-old actor and radio host from Kogi State described himself as a lone wolf and kept that energy throughout his time in the house.

Avoiding Other People’s Battles
Throughout his six weeks in the house, Gerard largely minded his game and stayed clear of other people’s conflicts and alliances. Many viewers finished watching him without a clear sense of where he stood on the bigger game.
In his post-eviction interview with NBG Africa, he explained why:
“It’s not my nature to pick people’s battles. You know, if it’s not me you’re fighting personally, I don’t see a reason why I should join you and fight the other person. When the other person can still be an ally to me in the future, that’s the main reason.”
His answer matched the way he moved inside the house. He preferred keeping the peace over speaking every thought. He chose respect over popularity and operated as a wildcard rather than lock himself into a rigid strategy.
When asked if he would have picked a camp, he chose Oyin’s group. He believed the bond between Oyin and Flora looked more durable than Sheba’s camp, noting that the other side seemed more likely to turn on each other. Even then, the preference was pragmatic rather than passionate. It’s safe to say that Gerard was not campaigning for anyone; he was simply assessing who might still be useful or peaceful later.

BBNaija Gerard Says He is Coming on Your Screens Bigger
Outside the house, Gerard already wears several hats. He is an actor, radio host, presenter, and content creator who entered the game hoping to meet new people and create new experiences. Now that the cameras are no longer fixed on the BBNaija house, he is ready to put those skills front and centre.
In the same interview with NBG Africa, he made his intentions plain to his fans:
“You guys should look forward to a lot of movies, a lot of good movies, bigger screens, better scripts, better characters. I can’t wait to show you guys how I can camouflage and have different personalities.”
His ability to disappear into different characters, host with presence, create content, and move through fashion and brand spaces is the package he is bringing into the next chapter.
Beyond that, look forward to hosting, brand endorsements, modeling, fashion, the whole thing. Just expect a lot, ’cause I can be a lot, sometimes,” Gerard added.
“Play Your Game, but Play Smartly” – Gerard Advises Housemates
Before signing off, Gerard left a measured piece of advice for those still inside:
“To all the housemates, my advice will be: don’t worry too much about what’s going on outside, or what you think, or how you think people are perceiving you. I think you just play your game, but be mindful that some choices have consequences that last even beyond the house. So, for me, I’ll just say, play your game, but play smartly.”
Gerard’s six weeks were never about dominating conversations or forcing alliances. He minded his business, avoided other people’s fights, and left the door open for future relationships.
