Actress Mo Bimpe has opened up about a painful period in her life when she felt excluded because she had no children.

The actress reflected on the experience after attending the birthday celebration of baby Rakeem, son of Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux. Rakeem’s birthday also brought together family, friends and celebrities, including his grandmother, Iyabo Ojo.

For Mo Bimpe, however, the celebration triggered emotional memories of her past struggles.

Mo Bimpe recalls painful exclusion

The actress and wife of celebrated actor, Lateef Adedimeji, said she once struggled with being excluded from events involving children.

She recalled missing baby showers, naming ceremonies and children’s birthday parties. According to her, some invitations stopped because she had no child at the time.

“Later, I found out that some people intentionally left me out because I didn’t have children,” she said.

The actress admitted that the experience deeply hurt her. She stressed that she never wanted pity from anyone. Instead, she simply wanted to celebrate with people she knew and cared about.

‘Please don’t make it harder’

Mo Bimpe explained that the struggle to conceive can already be emotionally difficult. She said the waiting, questions, insults and silent prayers can become overwhelming.

“Please don’t make it harder by excluding people,” she appealed.

The actress urged people to include women without children in celebrations. She also reminded society that motherhood should not determine a woman’s worth.

“A woman without a child is not less deserving of love, friendship, inclusion, or celebration,” she said.

From waiting to motherhood

Despite her difficult experience, Mo Bimpe said her story eventually changed. The mother of triplets sons said:.

“There was a time I had no child. Today, I am a mother of triplets,” she wrote.

Consequently, she encouraged women currently trying to conceive not to lose hope. She acknowledged that waiting can make faith feel exhausted. However, she urged women to continue believing despite difficult moments.

“The same God who remembered me has not forgotten you,” she said.

‘Your story is not over’

Mo Bimpe said her journey taught her that circumstances can change unexpectedly. She encouraged women to remain hopeful while navigating their personal journeys.

“If there is one thing my life has taught me, it is that God can change a story faster than anyone expects,” she wrote.

She also sent love, prayers and encouragement to women waiting to become mothers.

“Your miracle will happen too. Soon,” she concluded.
