It was all shades of blue as Nigerian celebrity lovebirds, actor Lateef Adedimeji and actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, celebrated their bundle of joy with friends, family and colleagues from the film industry.
The Adedimejis announced the birth of their triplet boys on May 1, 2026. The announcement brought joy and congratulatory messages from fans, friends and colleagues.
The celebrity couple got married in December 2021 and named their three sons Rahman, Raheem and Rakeeb. 
They hosted a thanksgiving celebration in Lagos to celebrate their precious gifts and thank God for His faithfulness in their lives. They themed the celebration “From Waiting to Wonder.
Lateef Adedimeji, Mo Bimpe Celebrate Three Sons After Years of Waiting
The couple faced a lot of expectations during their four years of marriage, particularly over when they would not have children. Some people mocked the couple and accused Mo Bimpe of being barren. Many controversies surrounded her not having children early in their marriage.
However, the country was filled with excitement when the couple announced the birth of their triplet boys in May 2026.

In the mood of celebration, the couple posted on their Instagram page:
“ THEY SPOKE. ALLAH ANSWERED.
The mockery.
The lies.
The stigma.
The assumptions.
The things said behind our backs and sometimes, right to our faces.
There was a time when the whispers were louder than our prayers.
There were moments we could have fought back. Moments we could have explained ourselves. Moments we could have tried to prove people wrong.
But we chose silence.
Because we knew something they didn’t…
Allah was writing our story.
And when Allah writes your story, you don’t need to fight every lie. You don’t need to answer every accusation. You don’t need to convince everyone.
Just wait for His timing.
Today, I stand beside my wife, looking at our three beautiful boys, and I can only say:
SUBHANALLAH.
Three boys.
Three blessings.
Three miracles.
Three answers to prayers only Allah knew about.
What people thought would break us, Allah used to build us.
What people used to mock, Allah turned into our testimony.
What people spoke about in darkness, Allah brought into the light.
They had their opinions.
Allah had His plan.
And His plan was greater.

It was a beautiful ceremony, with live performers such as Segun Johnson and Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, entertaining guests at the thanksgiving celebration for the triplets.
Nollywood actors, including Iyabo Ojo, Odunlade Adekola, Mercy Aigbe and Stan Nze, among others attended the celebration alongside other dignitaries, including Shade Okoya.
