A white influencer who put her face on a black model’s body has spoken out after a backlash.
Lauren Blake Boutilier is a US-based social media influencer, model, host, content creator, and entrepreneur with approximately 1.6–2 million followers across her main platforms. She openly uses AI tools for content generation at scale, which has become central to the recent controversy.
Lauren Blake shared an image on her Instagram account of 1.6 million followers. In the image, she was wearing a white crop top with green-and-white bow detail, a white skirt, and a green Louis Vuitton bag in a tennis stadium setting.

Tatiana Elizabeth Price called her out on Instagram and TikTok after she discovered the image Blake used was identical to one of her own—except that the face was not hers, and the location and caption were modified to look like she was at the Miami Open. Tatiana is a Black model and content creator who was a runner-up on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 23. She had posted that original photo of herself at the U.S. Open in 2024.
In a video, Tatiana noted she hadn’t received an apology, saying: “Bar for bar… The weirdest part about this is that it’s not even an AI influencer. This is a real person who used AI to put her head on my body.”
Blake’s Apology

Blake spoke out in an interview with TMZ Sports and also posted a statement on Instagram. After deleting the post, she said it shouldn’t have happened and took full responsibility. She explained that the image came from an AI content system her team uses to generate images at scale.
“I did not see the original image or intentionally set out to copy anyone’s work, but that doesn’t change the outcome… I understand this impacted another creator, especially when it comes to respecting original work, and I never want to contribute to that kind of frustration or harm within the creative community that I have been a part of for 10 years,” she added.
She has vowed to personally approve all future content “to ensure proper originality and respect for others’ work.” Daily Mail reports that Blake has also reached out privately to Tatiana to apologize, but Tatiana is not having it.
Tatiana Rejects the Apology
Tatiana rejected the apology Blake made. In a follow-up interview with TMZ Sports (April 2, 2026), she said she does not believe Blake’s apology is sincere:
“I don’t think she was honest. I don’t think she is authentic in her apology. I think she’s just saying what she thinks she needs to say in order to move past this.”
“I don’t think it’s coming from a sincere place… I think she just wants the situation to blow over and to get back to scheduled programming,” she added.
Many view it as digital image theft. On X, people have termed it “digital colonization,” referencing the colonial era. Some say it is straight-up catfishing via AI, especially since Blake is a real person profiting off someone else’s likeness and body for engagement.
