Superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo marries his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, after nearly a decade together.
The couple exchanged vows during a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal. Their five children reportedly attended the intimate celebration.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez confirm their marriage
Ronaldo and Rodríguez confirmed their marriage through a joint Instagram post. They shared a photograph showing their hands with wedding rings. 
The couple captioned the post, “C ❤️ G.”
Ronaldo’s representatives confirmed that the couple married on Tuesday, August 11. The ceremony took place exactly one year after they announced their engagement.
Rodríguez announced their engagement on August 11, 2025. She shared a photograph of her large diamond ring alongside a Spanish message confirming the engagement.
The couple had kept details of their wedding private before the ceremony.

Couple have built a family together
Ronaldo and Rodríguez have been together since 2016. They welcomed their first daughter together, Alana Martina, in 2017.
Their second daughter, Bella, arrived in April 2022 alongside her twin brother, Angel who, sadly, died shortly after birth.
Ronaldo has five children in total, including the two children he shares with Rodríguez.
Rodríguez has also helped raise Ronaldo’s other three children; Cristiano Jr, and a set of twins, Eva and Mateo.
The family currently lives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo plays professional football.
How Ronaldo met Georgina Rodríguez
Ronaldo met Rodríguez while she worked as a sales assistant at a Gucci store. The encounter occurred in Madrid while Ronaldo played for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The pair began dating shortly afterward and gradually built a relationship away from the spotlight.
Rodríguez later established herself as a model, influencer and television personality.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo continued his career with several of Europe’s biggest clubs. He previously played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus. He later moved to Saudi Arabia and joined Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo continues football career
Ronaldo remains one of football’s most decorated players. The Portuguese superstar has won the Ballon d’Or five times.
He has also represented Portugal at major international tournaments throughout his career. He recently played at the concluded World Cup.
At 41, Ronaldo continues to play professional football for Al-Nassr.
His marriage to Rodríguez marks a new chapter after years of partnership and family life.
The couple’s private ceremony also reflects their decision to keep their personal celebrations away from public attention.
