Nigerian actress and content creator Nimmy Ferrari has died just days before she was expected to celebrate her newly completed home in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Ferrari, whose full name has been reported as Adesanya Nimota Omotolani, died over the weekend. Actress Oluwakemisola Apesin, popularly known as Kemity, was among the colleagues who announced her death on social media.
Reports of her death began circulating on Saturday, September 5, before more of her colleagues and followers confirmed the news. 
Her death came shortly before a housewarming ceremony she had reportedly planned for her new home. Instead of hosting the celebration, Ferrari was buried at the same property in Sagamu.
What Has Been Said About Her Death
Several reports have linked Ferrari’s death to complications following a fibroid operation.
Reports circulating online claim that she underwent surgery to remove fibroids before developing complications. One account claimed she went into a coma following the procedure.
However, her family has not publicly released an official medical statement confirming the exact cause of her death.

Who Was Nimmy Ferrari?
Ferrari was an actress, filmmaker, content creator and social media personality who worked mainly in the Yoruba section of Nollywood.
She built a following online alongside her developing acting career. Her TikTok account had attracted hundreds of thousands of followers.
She also operated under the Nimmy Ferrari brand and produced entertainment content for social media and YouTube.
Available biographical records identify her as a native of Sagamu, Ogun State.
Ferrari also worked with several established Yoruba Nollywood actors during her career, including Niyi Johnson, Itele D Icon and Sanusi Izihaq.
Movies Linked to Her Career
Ferrari appeared in several Yoruba-language productions as she built her career in Nollywood.
Available film records credit her with appearances in productions including World Famous, Olowosile, Omo Agba and Iran Keta in 2023. Other reported credits include Awari Ogo and Orisa Para, both released in 2022.
Beyond acting, she also worked behind the scenes as a filmmaker and ran Nimmy Ferrari Production and Nimmy Ferrari TV.
Her career combined filmmaking with the social media presence through which many of her followers knew her.
A Housewarming That Never Happened
One detail surrounding Ferrari’s death has drawn particular attention.
She had recently completed a house in Sagamu and was reportedly preparing to hold a housewarming ceremony in the coming days. The celebration would have marked the completion of the property.
Her death changed those plans.
Ferrari was subsequently laid to rest at the home on Sunday, September 6. The burial took place only days before she was reportedly expected to welcome guests to the same property for its housewarming.
Ferrari was Muslim, and reports from the burial said her family laid her to rest according to Islamic rites.
Her death came during another difficult period for the Yoruba Nollywood industry, which has recently lost several actors.
