Ghanaian beauty queen and entrepreneur Hamamat Montia recently grabbed attention with an unconventional beauty tip for women who want firm, perky breasts.

Instead of medical products or surgical advice, she recommends using a calabash.

Recall that Hamamat recently went viral after her interaction with American internet personality IShowSpeed when he visited her Shea Butter Museum in Accra and got a 10-woman massage.

Across Africa, the calabash serves more than a simple household purpose.

Traditionally, people use it for drinking, storing cosmetics like shea butter, and decorative crafts.

But beyond that, the calabash carries strong cultural meaning in daily life across many African communities.

According to Hamamat, the calabash also plays a role in her beauty routine.

When she is at home and not going out, she sometimes uses a calabash as a home-made bra.

She believes this practice has helped her maintain breast firmness, even after childbirth and breastfeeding.

As part of her advice, she encourages women to use a calabash as a makeshift bra at home.

Hamamat suggests including it after childbirth or breastfeeding as this helps with maintaining breast firmness over time.

Overall, she presents the method as a natural and simple beauty practice for women seeking non-surgical options.

As we know, many women turn to risky methods like unsafe creams, pills, injections, and surgery to keep their breasts perky.

Some of these options carry health risks and long-term complications but Hamamat Montia’s calabash method appears simple, and non-invasive.

While it is not medically proven, the practice seems harmless and for those avoiding dangerous methods, this traditional approach may be worth trying.
