A Grammy-nominated Afrobeats artist, Davido, has revealed that he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 per month in Nigeria, excluding major expenses like family upkeep, household costs, jewelry, and luxury car purchases.
The singer made the disclosure during a live conversation on Davrel’s Twitch, where he spoke about his lifestyle and spending habits.
According to Davido, his expenses vary depending on where he is living. He explained that he spends much less in the United States because he lives mainly with his wife and children. However, his spending increases significantly whenever he is in Nigeria. 
Speaking during the livestream, Davido said:
“I actually spend less in Yankee because I live with just me, my wife and my kids.”
He added that his social activities and commitments in Nigeria contribute to his higher spending.
“When I’m around, I spend a lot more. We are balling every day.”

When asked to estimate his monthly expenses, the singer said they typically fall within the range of $200,000 to $300,000.
“I can’t tell you how much, but I can tell you like 300. Normally, probably 200 to 300.”

Davido further clarified that the figure does not include several major expenditures. According to him, the estimate excludes money spent on his wife, household expenses, jewellery, and luxury vehicles.
“This is minus my wife and the house… that one is closed. Minus buying jewellery or buying car.”
The disclosure provides a rare glimpse into Davido’s financial demands and career, exhibiting the expenses that come with being a global Afrobeats superstar.
