Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur Priscilla Ojo has sparked conversation on X after the unveiling of her new clothing collection. Social media users have since shared their opinions on the designs, fabric, and the overall presentation of the collection.
Although some have described the collection as beautiful and elegant, many are unimpressed. They have questioned whether they are practical, fashionable, or worth buying.
Nigerians Question the Design and Wearability of New Clothing Collection by Priscilla Ojo

In terms of styling and presentation, the collection did not seem to meet many expectations. One X user, Dimple, did not mince words as she described the collection as “BULLSHIT.”
Many commenters appeared to share similar reservations, with many comparing the outfits to nightwear. One user even joked about the collection looking like a maternity dress perfect for pregnant women.
While some were critical of the fabric, some said they looked rich, but the designs made the outfits appear “tacky.”
The question of wearability came up repeatedly. One user wrote, “Can’t wear them anywhere,” suggesting that the collection lacked the versatility of everyday fashion. Another said even Priscilla herself would probably not wear them.
The criticism was not limited to the clothes themselves. Some people also felt the models and photography did not do enough to present the collection attractively. One commenter suggested that the models might not have worn the outfits well, while another believed the photography and presentation were part of the problem.

Priscilla Ojo’s Journey into Fashion and Entrepreneurship
Priscilla’s interest in fashion and business did not begin with this latest collection.
The daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo started building her fashion business as a teenager.
In 2017, she launched Priscy’s Closet, a clothing line that marked one of her early steps into entrepreneurship. At the time, she was still a teenager and had already begun building an online presence through fashion and lifestyle content.
In a 2024 interview with Marie Claire Nigeria, Priscilla explained that attending red-carpet events made her conscious of her appearance and desire to stand out.
Her entrepreneurial interests later expanded beyond clothing. In March 2022, she introduced Priscy Luxe, a luxury handbag line, on her 21st birthday. Her handbag collection has remained a delight and has been widely accepted, which is why some have asked her to stick with it.
Over the years, Priscilla has continued to explore different business opportunities while maintaining her presence as a fashion influencer and content creator.
