Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 housemate Nomy has spoken publicly following her unexpected exit from the reality show. The former housemate addressed fans and supporters during an emotional X Space.
Nomy struggled to hold back tears while expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support. She also apologised to those who felt disappointed by her early departure.
Her emotional reaction came shortly after Big Brother revoked her privilege to remain in the house. 
NBG Africa reported that Nomy was kicked out of the Big Brother Naija house for her repeated defiance of Biggie’s instructions, rules and punishments. Her privilege of being on the show was revoked.
‘I Didn’t Know I Had an Army’ – Nomy
Nomy admitted that she never realised she had such strong support outside the house. She explained that her experience inside the house had shaped her perception of viewers.
According to her, she believed many people disliked her. However, leaving the show completely changed that impression.
“Just hearing that I have an entire nation makes me so happy,” Nomy said.
She thanked fans who continued supporting her despite her actions on the show. The former housemate also acknowledged those who checked on her after her disqualification. Her appreciation became emotional as she reflected on the love waiting for her outside.
“I’m so thankful to each one of you,” she added.
Nomy Regrets Her Actions
Nomy also expressed regret over the events that led to her expulsion. She apologised to everyone who felt she had let them down.
According to her, she never intended to disappoint her supporters. She admitted that knowing about their support earlier might have changed her approach.
“If I had known I had this much support, I would have fought harder,” she said.
Nomy said she would have done everything possible to remain in the competition. However, she accepted that her BBNaija journey had ended differently from what she expected.
She described her exit as something that perhaps happened for a reason.

‘I’m So Blessed to Have You’
Despite the disappointment, Nomy said she remained grateful for the experience. She thanked fans for standing by her when they had no obligation to do so.
“Thank you for checking on me and supporting me,” she told them.
The former housemate said their support had given her comfort after leaving the show. She also acknowledged that her journey did not end as planned. Nevertheless, Nomy said she felt fortunate to have discovered the size of her support base.
“I’m so blessed to have you guys,” she said.
Her emotional message has offered fans a glimpse into her mindset following the dramatic exit. Nomy had even turned her social media handles to private following her exit from the show. Though they are opened now.
While her BBNaija dream ended prematurely, Nomy appears determined to embrace the support waiting outside. For now, the former housemate can only look ahead and build on the connection she has created with her fans.
