BBNaija Season 11 has taken another dramatic turn after Nomy was disqualified from the reality show.
The housemate’s journey ended abruptly on Monday, September 7, 2026. Big Brother cited her repeated defiance of his instructions, rules and punishments.
The shocking decision has now reduced the Season 11 house to 15 contestants. As the competition reaches its midpoint, the stakes have suddenly become even higher. 
Big Brother Draws the Line
Nomy, whose full name is Whitney Nneoma Chukwu, had repeatedly tested Big Brother’s patience.
According to Big Brother, she continued ignoring his directives despite previous warnings. She had also received punishment for failing to follow instructions in the house. However, those warnings failed to change her behaviour.
Big Brother ultimately drew the line and revoked her right to remain in the competition. The decision showed that repeated defiance would no longer be tolerated.
Nomy’s Latest Defiance
Nomy’s latest trouble began while she served as this week’s bench warmer. She had been assigned a specific bench and vest as part of her punishment. However, she abandoned both items instead of following the directive.
Big Brother confronted her over the infringement and her repeated disregard for his authority. He also pointed to her history of ignoring instructions and punishments. This time, there was no room for another warning.
Big Brother withdrew her privilege to participate in the evening’s game.

The situation escalated when Big Brother announced Nomy’s disqualification. She was given only 30 minutes to gather her belongings and leave the house.
The decision immediately ended her hopes of winning the Season 11 grand prize. It also brought her BBNaija journey to a sudden and dramatic close.
Big Brother’s decision delivered a blunt message to everyone still competing. Repeatedly ignoring his instructions could have serious consequences.
For Nomy, the ultimate consequence was losing her place in the competition.

Nomy had auditioned four different times to get on the BBNaija show but lost the privilege mid-way to winning the reality show.
