Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has cryptically addressed the recent incident involving his wife, Natasha Osawaru, in Abuja.
The “African Queen” singer spoke about the incident during his performance at Daddy Showkey’s 50 Years on Stage celebration on Sunday, August 9.
According to reports, 2Baba had planned to perform at the opening of 90s Lounge on Friday, August 7. 
However, an unexpected confrontation involving his wife reportedly disrupted the night.
2Baba says he went looking for trouble
While addressing fans at the event, 2Baba appeared to reference the incident.
The singer said he had gone out looking for trouble and eventually got more than he expected.
He also promised his fans that he would avoid such situations in the future.
“Going forward, I won’t be looking for trouble again. I don go look for trouble, and I don hear am this time around,” he said.
His comments came after videos of the incident circulated widely on social media.
The development has since generated reactions among fans and followers of the singer.

Eyewitness shares details of lounge incident between 2Baba and Natasha
An eyewitness reportedly captured part of the encounter and shared the footage online.
According to the eyewitness, Natasha arrived at the Abuja nightclub with members of her entourage.
The politician allegedly demanded access to the lounge so she could see her husband.
However, security personnel reportedly stopped some members of her entourage from entering the premises.
In the footage, Natasha allegedly insisted that she was 2Baba’s wife.
“I am your wife. My husband 2Baba is here,” she reportedly said.
She wore an all-black outfit while several men accompanied her to the venue.
The confrontation reportedly escalated after security officials prevented the group from entering.

2Baba steps in to calm the situation
According to reports, 2Baba eventually left the lounge after the situation became tense.
The singer reportedly intervened and helped calm the confrontation.
He then took Natasha into the lounge with him, bringing the standoff to an end.
The incident has attracted considerable attention online, particularly amid reports surrounding the couple’s relationship.
However, 2Baba’s remarks appeared to address the episode without providing extensive details about what happened inside the venue.
