Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has set the record straight about why she distanced herself from the Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council, saying it was the right thing to do.
After Toyin Abraham made a clarification that she was not part of those campaigning for President Bola Tinubu, a concerned lawyer tweeted,:
“I hope this stops the bullies from bullying her, but I know for sure they will never stop.”
Toyin Abraham replied to the lawyer’s tweet, saying she did not step back because of bullies but because it was the right thing for her to do, as she is not interested in politics. She tweeted:
“Bro, I didn’t do it because of any bully. I did it because it was the right thing to do. I woke up and saw my name on a list I knew absolutely nothing about. Moreover, l’ve already said it—I’m not interested in politics. Lawyer Nupe i love u and thanks for love and support”
