Toluwanisings’ last known appearance came at Bidemi Olaoba’s “In His Presence” worship concert in Ibadan on Tuesday night. The gospel singer joined Olaoba and other worshippers on October 13, hours before his family confirmed his death.

The family identified him as Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji and said he died early Wednesday, October 14, 2026. They described him as a beloved husband, family member and minister with Toluwani Gospel Music Ministry. The family asked for prayers for his wife and loved ones. It did not disclose his cause of death.

After the announcement, people began sharing photographs and memories from his final gathering with Olaoba.

Fans also revisited photographs showing the singers together that night.

Bidemi later shared a tribute on Instagram about pain, unanswered questions and faith. The tribute drew attention because they had worshipped together hours earlier.

Associate Tobi Praise shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp post Toluwanisings made on Tuesday. He reposted a message urging apologies, humility and genuine relationships. He captioned it, “I am very sorry.”

An X user claimed he saw the singer being rushed to a hospital as gospel singers and band members cried.

OmoOba Adeyemi separately speculated about cardiac arrest and criticised Nigeria’s emergency response. No medical source has confirmed either account.

Pelumi Deborah recalled seeing him three days earlier and described an unfinished conversation. Woli Agba remembered Toluwanisings as a unique voice and mourned the painful void he left behind.

Other gospel singers highlighted his humility, service and support for fellow ministers. Together, the posts captured the people and moments surrounding his final appearance.

Toluwanisings had built a following through live ministrations, worship songs and his work with TOGOMM.

His appearance at Olaoba’s concert now carries added meaning. Many colleagues saw him there before his death.

Fans continue revisiting photographs, messages and tributes from after the announcement.

The family confirmed the timing of his death. Funeral details will follow as the gospel community remembers his final ministry.
