Nigerian actress Sunshine Rosman has spoken about the races she would love to portray in films during her lifetime. She said she believes she has the qualities to play Indian and Spanish characters.
During an interview on GlassHouse with AY, she said:
“I want to be in a lead role in an Indian or Spanish movie. It could be Indian, it could be Spanish. God has put me in a position to play multiple characters. I have seen that I can play an Indian character very comfortably in terms of my features and what I look like. I can play a Spanish character, a Spanish girl, really easily. These are two races I look like, and I would want to take advantage of it in my lifetime.”

Sunshine Rosman’s Journey in Nollywood
Rosman broke into Nollywood in 2015 when she played Amara in Lunch Time Heroes alongside Omoni Oboli. She later gained fame as Michelle in My Siblings and I before she played Amanda Sparkles in Kemi Adetiba’s 2024 Netflix thriller To Kill a Monkey.
Her performance in To Kill a Monkey earned praise for her deep character research. To prepare for the role, Rosman observed Lagos “runs girls” to capture the character’s authenticity. She has also appeared in Pretty Thief (2022), Perfect Assistant (2022) and When Love Strikes (2024).
Beyond acting, Rosman hosts The Sunshine Show on YouTube, where she interviews celebrities.

Rosman studied Mass Communication and draws inspiration from Marilyn Monroe’s screen presence.
Sunshine Rosman’s Humanitarian Work
Beyond acting, Rosman supports Available Shoulders, her family’s initiative for social welfare and community aid. Her late father founded the initiative, while her mother continues the work.
