Nigerian dancer Poco Lee appeared before Snaresbrook Crown Court in London on Tuesday, September 15. The court held a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing concerning five sexual offence charges against him. The hearing marked another stage in the ongoing legal proceedings. However, it was not the trial itself.

Poco Lee faces one count of attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration. He was granted bail on September 11. The alleged offences were said to have happened on July 30, 2026.

The dancer has denied the allegations and maintains his innocence.

Court Reviews Next Steps in the Case

A Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing allows the court to address preliminary matters. These include pleas, trial arrangements and case management. The proceedings help determine how the case will progress. They do not establish whether the defendant committed any offence.

Poco Lee has not been convicted. Therefore, the allegations remain unproven before the court. The case remains active, with further hearings expected in the coming months.
