Nigerian social media personality Blessing CEO has sparked outrage among fans and supporters after admitting that she does not have cancer, weeks after emotionally telling followers she was battling stage 4 breast cancer.

In a recent interview with Egungun, the self-acclaimed relationship therapist clarified that her earlier statement was based on a “miscommunication” from her doctors. According to her, she has only undergone a biopsy and is still waiting for the final test results. This, however, is a contrast to her earlier videos, where she broke down in tears, claiming her “days were numbered,” and asked fans for prayers and support.

Her emotional appeal triggered an outpour of sympathy across social media, with many Nigerians sending encouraging messages and financial support to aid her chemotherapy journey.

According to her, she has received as much as ₦13 million in donations from well-wishers who believed she was already diagnosed with cancer and in urgent need of treatment. Now, her latest revelation has left many feeling misled.

Despite the misleading appeal, Blessing CEO has made it clear that she has no intention of apologizing. She maintains that she only shared what she understood at the time and insists she did not deliberately deceive the public.

As it stands, Blessing CEO says she is still awaiting her biopsy results, something a lot of people doubt, as it is already believed she lied about her health to raise money for her husband’s car business, which she denies.

But with so many questions still unanswered, the truth is still far from being completely revealed.
