Ayra Starr and ZAYN’s Heaven Baby has reached No. 1 on the UK Official Afrobeats Chart.
The song moved from No. 3 to the summit on the chart dated October 17 to 23, 2026. The Official Charts Company compiles the ranking from sales and streams. Heaven Baby has spent nine weeks on the chart and previously peaked at No. 2.
Its rise followed Victony’s SLICK completing the chart’s 13-week run and leaving the ranking. The shift opened the top position to the Ayra Starr and ZAYN collaboration, which entered the chart at No. 2 on August 29.
Heaven Baby is the 14th track on Ayra Starr’s third studio album, Starrgirl. Mavin Records and Republic Records released the 16-track album on August 14. The song runs for 2 minutes and 38 seconds and combines Ayra’s Afropop delivery with ZAYN’s R&B-leaning vocals.
The record uses a piano-led arrangement with limited percussion, leaving space for both singers. Its lyrics describe instant chemistry, devotion and the feeling of finding someone who feels like a personal heaven. Ayra sings about being drawn to someone from their first meeting, while ZAYN contributes a contrasting vocal section.
Ayra previously teased the collaboration by changing her social-media profile picture to ZAYN. He also changed his profile image to Ayra, prompting speculation before the album tracklist confirmed the feature.
The official music video arrived on October 5. Directed by Earthboi, it places the singers in a dark, atmospheric setting with metallic surfaces, tinted glass and illuminated floor panels. Ayra appears in blue satin, while ZAYN performs in darker styling.
The chart result adds to a wider international run for Heaven Baby, which has also topped the UK Official British Asian Music Chart. It gives Ayra Starr another UK milestone while extending ZAYN’s presence on a chart dedicated to Afrobeats.
