Rumours have been swirling less than two weeks after their marriage in the United States; Big Brother Naija alum, Angel Smith, and her partner, Tumininu, are reportedly experiencing marital problems. On March 27, 2026, Angel and her wife, Tumi, officially tied the knot in the U.S.

What The Rumours Mills Are Saying

Rumours began swirling when Tumininu allegedly posted Angel’s engagement ring and asked if anyone wanted it. Angel, in turn, responded that she cannot be controlled.

In a leaked conversation shared by blogger metronaija, Tumi questioned Angel about her commitment to their marriage, to which Angel replied she was sure about her decision.

Tumi expressed concerns about their intimacy, suggesting that their issues might make them stop being intimate. Tumi admitted to selling her chains to purchase a car for Angel, who answered that she never asked for the car. Tumi later took to Snapchat to defend herself against critics, claiming to have spent over $150,000 on Angel and accusing her of infidelity with another woman.

At the time of publication, both Tumininu’s and Angel’s accounts had no stories or updates, so it is very possible that the screenshots are made up.

Many people online have been talking about the couple, and they haven’t exactly had the nicest things to say about Angel, mentioning her past relationships with Soma and Cross in the Big Brother house. Some even said the pastor hasn’t even gone home yet and they are already having issues.
