History was made on March 6, 2026, when Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie became the first African rapper to sell out the iconic Royal Albert Hall in the United Kingdom. The milestone concert coincided with Ghana’s Independence Day, making the moment even more significant for Ghanaians around the world.
Rapperholic has developed over time into one of Ghana’s most eagerly awaited annual music events. Major venues have regularly sold out for the show, which features some of the biggest international and Ghanaian performers.
Sarkodie gave an upbeat performance and shared the stage with a number of other artists like Stormzy, Flavour, King Promise, Fuse ODG and others during the London edition of the show, leaving the audience with unforgettable memories.

The award-winning rapper also used the occasion to officially announce the next edition of his international concert series. The 2027 Rapperholic UK concert will take place at London’s The O2 Arena. With a capacity of about 20,000 seats, the O2 Arena represents a significant expansion for the Rapperholic brand. The event is scheduled for March 6, 2027, coinciding with Ghana’s 70th Independence anniversary.
