Dooshima, a consumer advocate, has expressed worries about reports of spoilt milk products linked to FrieslandCampina WAMCO, the company that makes Peak Milk, Three Crowns, Olympic, and Coast Milk.
According to her, some customers have shared their online experiences after purchasing milk products that they said had gone bad despite being within their shelf life. She asked the corporation to look into the allegations and improve its quality control procedures in order to protect customers.
Consumers Report Alleged Quality Issues
Dooshima said many Nigerians have trusted the company’s products for decades and have passed that trust from one generation to another. However, she noted that recent complaints from consumers have generated concerns about the quality of some products currently in circulation.
She stated that consumers initially believed counterfeit products might have caused the reported issues. However, she said some consumers now claim that original products from the company’s brands have also shown signs of spoilage.

Dooshima Calls for Answers From FrieslandCampina WAMCO
In a video shared on her TikTok page, Dooshima addressed FrieslandCampina WAMCO directly and called for transparency over the growing concerns.
She said:
“On behalf of every Nigerian mother and family, I’m writing this open letter to FrieslandCampina WAMCO, the makers of Peak Milk, Three Crowns, Olympic and Coast Milk.
“Peak Milk has been around for more than 70 years. Our mothers trusted these brands and handed them down to us, and now we are about to hand them over to our children. Suddenly, something appears to have gone wrong with these products we have trusted for decades.
“At some point, we made excuses that perhaps some people were producing fake milk. But now, we have come to realise that, alongside the fake products in the market, some of the products that have gone bad are reportedly original products from your brand.
“At this point, we are scared, we are asking questions, and we deserve answers.”

Consumers Seek Reassurance
Dooshima stressed that consumers deserve clear answers regarding the reported incidents. She urged the company to address the concerns publicly and reassure Nigerians about the safety and quality of its products.
Her comments have added to the ongoing conversations on social media, where some consumers have continued to share their experiences and call for greater accountability from manufacturers whose products millions of Nigerians consume daily.
