A single tweet by popular influencer Pamilerin Adegoke, quickly deleted, stated that “HB and DM broke up… so painful.”
That single matchstick was all it took to set the internet on fire. Within minutes of timeline discussions that three-time Guinness World Record holder and chef Hilda Baci and her partner, Nigerian music executive Damilola “Dapper” Akinwunmi (CEO of Dapper Music), had called it quits, and he allegedly left her for fellow influencer Soso. 
Some users took mocking jabs, commenting that he left despite her BBL.
What Do The Actual Facts Say? Are They Really Splitting Up?
Since the original poster deleted the tweet, it technically amounts to a retraction of the claim. Furthermore, Hilda recently posted a picture on Instagram, and Dapper was right there in the comment section calling her “sweet thing”. This public display of affection has led many to assume that there was, in fact, no breakup.
So, is this just baseless internet drama? Or, as the saying goes, is there no smoke without a fire? Fans are restless; the couple have been dating since 2023, and at this point most people are eagerly expecting wedding bells. For now, it looks like the rumours might just be wishful thinking from trolls, but in the world of celebrity gossip, only time will tell.
