Several Nigerian celebrities have spoken out against the country’s escalating insecurity.
An brutal attack happened in Jos on Palm Sunday, March 29 where people lost their lives. The gruesome images and videos made Nigerian celebrities and citizens question the government.
These are some of the celebrities responses to the insecurity crisis that happened.
Paul Okoye

In response to the attack on Christians on Palm Sunday in Jos, Plateau State, where Paul Okoye was born, singer and half of the P-Square duo, also known as Rudeboy, stated that Nigerians are not angry enough about the country’s insecurity.
On his X handle, he wrote, “We are not Angry enough !!!
May be na until God come down for earth.”
Debo Adebayo
Debo Adebayo popularly known as Mr Macaroni, a comedian and activist, Tweets on X that President Bola Tinubu’s administration of “incompetence and irresponsibility”.
He claimed that the President is “running the most useless government in the history of useless governments”, emphasising that Nigerians “wake up every day to lament one tragedy after another.”

In another X post, Mr Macaroni said he doesn’t understand why the President hasn’t addressed the nation despite the fact that “40 Nigerians have been confirmed dead” in Sunday’s terrorist attack in Jos.

He also claimed that the current administration has no sense of accountability or responsibility.
Kunle Remi

Actor, Kunle Remi has urged Nigerians to include images and videos of the country’s insecurity and hardship in birthday greetings for President Tinubu, who recently turned 74.
In a video posted on Instagram, the actor stated, “There is a video of a woman in pain crying over the loss of someone; that is the image we should use if you want to wish President Tinubu a happy birthday. Plateau suffered a disaster. That is the image we should use to celebrate. Thank you so much. “Happy birthday, President.”
Ice Prince
Panshak ‘Ice Prince’ Zamani, a native of Jos also tweeted about the killings in Jos but many people were not pleased with him, since he performed at the APC convention. A government many people believe to be silent on the killings.
He tweeted, “Since 2001, Jos Jos Jos. My people have suffered too much tbh…thoughts and prayers.”
Jerry Eze
Pastor and convener of NSSPD, tweeted about the horrors happening in Jos. He said,
JOS – JESUS OUR SAVIOUR ! The Mercy of EL-ROI has Prevailed !! May the Wickedness of the Wicked perish with them !!!
