An Ikeja Special Offences Court has granted social media personality and relationship coach Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, bail of N20 million in her ongoing fraud case.
Justice Rahman Oshodi granted her bail on the condition that she provides two responsible sureties in the same amount. The prosecution did not oppose the bail application, but the judge said the court considered both the gravity of the charges and the prescribed punishment before granting bail.
The Charges Against Her
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arraigned Blessing CEO on June 9, 2026, on two counts of alleged stealing and obtaining money by false pretenses. She pleaded not guilty to both counts.
According to the EFCC, she allegedly obtained N69.15 million from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Ltd. in March 2025, after representing that she would lease a property in Lekki, Lagos, to the company. The commission alleges that the lease didn’t materialise and the funds weren’t returned.
The alleged offences, according to the EFCC, contravene Section 285 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State and Section 1(3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, 2006.

The Bail Conditions

Justice Oshodi set clear conditions for the bail. Each surety must provide a three-year bank statement or evidence of a fixed deposit valued at not less than N20 million. Blessing CEO and her sureties are to be profiled on the Bail Information Management System of the Lagos State Judiciary.
The Nigerian Immigration Service has also been directed to enforce the travel restriction order against the defendant until the end of the trial.
The court at the bail hearing asked what the status was of the defendant’s international passport. The passport was lost, and her defence counsel informed the court of this and tendered an affidavit of loss and public notices published in this regard.
The case was adjourned until October 12, 2026, for continuation of trial.
