1. VeryDarkMan (VDM) and Blord

VDM (Martins Vincent Otse) is a bold activist known for calling out scams and shady deals online. Blord (Linus Williams Ifejirika) is a flashy crypto entrepreneur from Anambra, known for luxury posts and businesses like phone imports and apps, earning him the nickname “African Elon Musk.”

They had no relationship before. They were just two influencers on Obasanjo’s internet until VDM turned his spotlight on Blord.

What Sparked the Beef?

It started in 2024 as online criticism, not personal beef. VDM began calling out Blord’s flashy lifestyle and business, accusing him of selling refurbished gadgets and overpricing crypto deals, which he said hurt everyday Nigerians.

Things escalated in October 2025 when VDM was in China, where much of Blord’s stock comes from. He doubled down, accusing him of overpricing modified phones. Blord defended himself, and the back-and-forth got more personal, with MSN reports of private clips being shared.

We didn’t see what was coming next.

In January 2026, things turned legal. Blord tried to trademark “Ratel,” VDM’s fanbase name, and even sent a cease-and-desist to stop him from using it. VDM pushed back, calling it a troll move, and responded by trying to trademark “BLORD” across multiple categories. When we thought that was all, Blord allegedly started using VDM’s face and name without permission.

Blord went further by putting up billboards and flyers claiming he paid VDM ₦500 million as a brand ambassador. He also allegedly created fake flight tickets in VDM’s real name to promote a fake partnership for apps like Billpoint and Blunt Gadget, especially in places like Onitsha.

VDM, who clearly states he doesn’t do ads, saw it as identity theft and false claims for clout. While Blord’s camp framed VDM as trying to bring down a successful business, VDM eventually stepped back from the back-and-forth and chose to handle it legally.

How it escalated and what’s happening now

By April 2026, the feud reached court. On April 1, Blord was arraigned in Abuja over impersonation, forgery, and misuse of VDM’s identity, and was remanded in Kuje Prison.

VDM called it “accountability,” while Blord remains in custody amid health concerns. His lawyers are seeking bail, with a possible court date around April 27. Reactions, including from Phyno and Omoyele Sowore, are mixed. Some support VDM, others say it’s too much. The billboards are down now, but the story is still trending on X and Instagram.

2. Buba Girl & Energy Goddess

This one is a story of TikTok besties who used to collaborate and support each other through and through. Then, one sneaky phone scroll turned everything into a full-blown betrayal saga.

The Players

Buba Girl (real name Esther Raphael, the popular dancer/fashion girl known for her buba outfits) and Beauty Goddess and her circle.

Earlier, when Buba Girl faced a tough time after her private videos leaked, Beauty Goddess stood by her. She spent time with her and helped her move past it. Beauty Goddess’s friends, like Celyn and Khloe Gram, also showed love. It was all good vibes, collabs, light gist, and no drama.

The Spark

Drama ensued when Energy Goddess allegedly checked Buba Girl’s phone without full permission. She found private chats with her boyfriend, Victor. The messages reportedly included body-shaming comments about Celyn and claims that Buba Girl was friendly in public but mocked her friends in private.

Energy Goddess shared screenshots, exposing it all. Buba Girl responded by calling it a privacy breach and saying the group also gossips. It quickly turned into a full fallout over trust, loyalty, and betrayal.

What’s Happening Now

As of the filing of this report, the fallout is still trending on TikTok and Instagram. Energy Goddess and Celynukam are publicly calling out Buba Girl. More screenshots and explanations are coming out too. Some fans say it was wrong to snoop on her phone, while others believe Beauty Goddess exposed a fake friend. The drama is still unfolding, and we look forward to more receipts.

3. Bobrisky & Papaya Ex

“Bobrisky, a 31-year-old man, fighting a 21-year-old girl over being the biggest girl in Lagos will forever be funny to me.” That was a tweet by @Mayowathefirst in 2022, and that’s exactly the summary of their beef.

Bobrisky has long shuffled between different titles: “Mummy of Lagos,” “Biggest Girl in Lagos” (and sometimes “in Africa”). He flexes hard with luxury gifts, big parties, and queen energy. When Papaya Ex started throwing her own grand housewarming events and copying the flashy socialite vibe, Bobrisky saw it as direct competition. She clapped back, calling Papaya a “local Ibadan girl” trying to steal her shine and title.

This “biggest girl in Lagos” war fueled their beef big time. It went from subs to real chaos at a 2022 Lagos party, where Bobrisky allegedly threw punches and a bottle at her. People tried jumping in to separate them. The “title” claim is still Bobrisky’s way of flexing whenever Papaya Ex moves up. Even years later, their subtle jabs and shade still remain.

4. VeryDarkMan (VDM) vs. King Mitchy (& Seyi Tinubu)

King Mitchy (Michelle Mukoro) is a flashy philanthropist and content creator known for charity work, emotional videos, and showcasing her impact. She and VDM had no known prior relationship.

In late February 2026, King Mitchy posted about renovating a Delta State government school in six days. She subtly threw shade at VDM for not using donated funds for real impact. VDM responded by accusing her of clout-chasing and questioning the project’s authenticity. He also alleged that Seyi Tinubu was secretly backing her to launder the government’s image ahead of the 2027 elections. He hinted at a possible personal relationship between them.

The situation escalated when Mitchy lost her business page. She became highly emotional on livestreams, including a controversial stunt involving a bleaching agent. VDM escalated tensions by blaming her and Seyi Tinubu if anything happened to him.

By March 2026, Mitchy publicly apologized to VDM, Seyi Tinubu, the Ooni of Ife, and Nigerians, and stepped back from the drama. However, Seyi Tinubu denied the allegations, saying he barely knew her and rejected any political framing. VDM has maintained his accusations and insisted he was exposing political manipulation.

5. Purple Speedy & Crispdal

We didn’t see Nigeria’s finest TikTok couple’s breakup coming. After giving us relationship goals and dance moves since 2021, the couple decided to call it a day.

By late 2025 into early 2026, rumors of trouble between Crispdal and Speedy surfaced. It started with a Valentine’s post of Crispdal with another lady. The post sparked cheating speculation, while Speedy shared heartbreak content and emotional posts. Their alleged Instagram unfollow fueled breakup talks, too.

Reports of private relationship issues, including claims about dissatisfaction and intimacy problems, further fueled the drama. Fans revisited old clips and interpreted past “playful fights” as signs of deeper conflict, turning the situation into public speculation and online debate.

They’ve since moved into separate content paths. Speedy now does content with her sister, while Crispdal is exploring new creative vibes. Fans still circulate their old dance videos and “couple chemistry” clips, but their romantic relationship appears to have cooled significantly.
