Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola is at the centre of an online conversation after a video from a recent event went viral.
The clip shows the actress at her colleague Habeeb Alagbe’s 40th birthday party in Ikeja, Lagos. Toriola arrived at the party wearing a bedazzled white dress complete with gele and clutch. The dress had a very deep plunging neckline that left little to the imagination.
In the circulating video, Wumi can be heard complaining that the media and photographers were deliberately zooming in on her chest. 
With a mix of annoyance and her usual fiery energy, she warned that she would curse anyone focusing on that part of her body.

Reactions to Wunmi Toriola’s Viral Clip
The red carpet video clip quickly spread across social media. Many users have reposted the clip accompanied by their comments on the moment and her dress.
Some sided with her. They suggested that it is a usual thing for the media to fixate on women’s bodies for clicks and engagement.
Many others criticized her. They were less sympathetic, arguing that the outfit itself invited attention and that she should have expected the camera angles.
This isn’t the first time Wumi’s fashion choices have sparked debate.
Toriola later posted her own clearer footage of the look from the same event and jokingly called for a “boobs packing tutorial,” tagging a fellow actress, Damilola Oni (who also wore a cleavage-heavy white dress that night).
Habeeb Alagbe’s birthday party was a star-studded affair attended by several Yoruba movie personalities, but Toriola’s entrance and subsequent reaction have dominated timelines. However, she remains unfiltered, and she doesn’t mind firing back when the conversation turns too focused on her chest.
