Tiwa Savage is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She is one of the few women who have contributed immensely to the music industry in Africa and beyond since turning 31.
Tiwa Savage on Ageing and Looking for Love

Following the constant trolling she has been facing online by bullies, Tiwa talked about being 45 years old now, what it feels like and how much she loves to wear the age on her sleeve with pride.
She also broke down about her past relationships. How she fell in love, got married, had a child and got a divorce.
In her words, “We are built to love,” and as such, she remains hopeful of finding a love that matches the depth of what she has given in her past relationships.

Tiwa Savage’s Friendship with Toke Makinwa

Tiwa and Toke’s friendship has caused a lot of buzz online, with people constantly dropping their opinions on why Tiwa should stay away from Toke Makinwa. She said she sees Toke as one of the best things to ever happen to her and considers her a very loyal friend.
She stated that she’s learning to set boundaries in her relationship with people and has lost a lot of friends in the process.
However, she’s going to do anything within her powers to be there more for people who love her, especially her best friend and son, Jamil.
Tiwa On Being A Boy Mum

Tiwa Savage gave birth to 10-year-old Jamil on 15th July 2015 with ex-husband Tunji Balogun.
Tiwa talked about how she didn’t want to be a boy-mum at first, so when she gave birth to Jamil, it was difficult to bond in the first two years.
“Honestly, I didn’t bond with my son for the first year or two. I always wanted a girl. They told me it was a boy, and I started crying. So, when he came, he was always crying, and my body didn’t snap back. I looked horrible. I was supposed to do a campaign with Pepsi at the time, and they turned me away. And I just thought, ‘This boy has destroyed me.’ But now, he is my best friend.”
She says she teaches the young boy to treat women better by regularly reminding him of the things she has gone through.
Tiwa Savage has been in the music industry for over a decade and has released 24 singles and 4 studio albums. In her words, she’s a gentle giant and will not be going anywhere anytime soon.
