Which brands and companies does the continent of Africa love? GeoPoll, a lead research partner for the Brand Africa 100, revealed Africa’s Best Brands rankings in 2025 at Africa Hall in Addis Ababa.

The Brand Africa 100 study is popular because it is the most extensive consumer brand survey on the continent, covering 31 countries and accounting for over 85% of Africa’s population and GDP. It is conducted independently; the survey’s mobile-based data collection is led by GeoPoll in collaboration with Kantar and regional partners.

Despite a growing optimism in Africa’s potential, with 68% of respondents believing in the continent—an increase from 64% in 2024—the rankings indicate a troubling decline in loyalty towards African brands.
