The first wife of late veteran actor Alhaji Taiwo Hassan Ogogo, Ajoke Taiwo, has spoken about her late husband and the kind of husband he was to her.

When she was asked who Ogogo was to her, Ajoke said Taiwo Hassan was a caring and loving husband who stood by her whenever she faced difficult moments.

“Taiwo Hassan was a caring and loving husband. He was always there for me in difficult moments and stood by me like both a father and mother.”

She also spoke about the pain of losing him, saying his death has left a deep wound in her life.

“Losing him has left a wound that will never heal,” she mourned

Ajoke revealed that she started acting before Ogogo joined the industry. She said she was already an actress before her late husband began his acting career.

“I was the first to start acting before Taiwo Hassan joined the industry.”

However, she later stopped acting after he husband asked her to quit because of their children.

According to Ajoke, their acting jobs could keep them on location for months, making it difficult for them to stay around their children.

“He was the one who asked me to quit because of our children, as we could spend months on location.”

Ajoke also recalled the respect Ogogo had for her. She said he always gave her the respect she deserved and proudly introduced her as his boss.

“He always gave me my respect and proudly introduced me as his boss.”
