Nigerian rapper and music executive Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Baddo, is preparing for one of the biggest headline performances of his career after announcing a concert at London’s iconic O2 Arena.
The award-winning musician is scheduled to perform at the 20,000-capacity venue on March 25, 2027. This will mark another major milestone for Nigerian music on the international stage.
According to The O2’s official event listing, the concert will feature special guests, with further details expected to be announced. The performance will become Olamide’s biggest headline show in London to date, following his appearance at the OVO Arena Wembley in November 2025.
The announcement also places Baddo among a select group of Nigerian stars who have headlined the famous London venue. It also further highlights the international reach of Afrobeats and Nigerian hip-hop.
Olamide O2 Arena concert follows successful Wembley show
Olamide’s upcoming concert follows his return to London in November 2025, when he headlined the OVO Arena Wembley, a venue with a capacity of approximately 12,000.
The performance came nine years after his previous headline show in the city in 2016. Demand for tickets to the Wembley concert was so high that the ticketing website reportedly crashed shortly after sales opened.

The show also featured appearances from several artists associated with his YBNL record label and wider music circle, including Asake, Young Jonn, Seyi Vibez, Lil Kesh and Pheelz.
The successful London return helped build anticipation for a larger venue. However, while the O2 Arena concert is confirmed, a sell-out has not yet been established.
Olamide joins Nigerian stars who have headlined the O2 Arena
The O2 Arena has become a major destination for Nigerian musicians seeking to demonstrate their international drawing power.
Olamide is expected to join Nigerian artists including Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Asake and Rema, who have headlined the venue. Wizkid made history with his 2018 Afrorepublik concert. Davido, Burna Boy and subsequent Afrobeats stars have also continued to strengthen Nigeria’s presence at the arena.
The venue can accommodate approximately 20,000 people, making it a significant step up from the Wembley Arena show Olamide headlined in 2025.
For Nigerian artists, performing at the O2 represents more than a concert booking. It demonstrates the ability to attract a large international audience and turn the popularity of Nigerian music into major live events overseas.
Olamide’s influence extends beyond his music
Beyond his success as a rapper, Olamide has played an important role in developing new Nigerian talent through YBNL Nation.
The label has helped launch and develop artists including Asake, Fireboy DML and Lil Kesh, contributing to the evolution of contemporary Nigerian street-pop and Afrobeats.
His catalogue blends Yoruba and English lyrics, street-hop influences and mainstream pop. This has helped him maintain a strong connection with Nigerian listeners while building an audience abroad.
The March 2027 concert will offer fans an opportunity to experience different eras of his career, from the street anthems that established Baddo’s reputation to more recent releases.
With his O2 Arena debut approaching, Olamide is preparing to take another significant step in his international career. Time will tell whether the show ultimately sells out or not, but the booking itself marks a major moment for the rapper and Nigerian music.
