Many husbands, at one time or another, have gotten into trouble for giving an inappropriate reply or not knowing what to say to their wives.
In a world where technology is reshaping almost every aspect of our lives, Nigerian communications professional Zainab Imichi Alhassan, and Sarah Curtis, have created an innovative AI tool aimed at strengthening marriages through better communication.
According to Arabian Business, it gives men immediate, private help with difficult conversations, resolving conflicts, and expressing themselves better. 
How It Started
The idea for the app was born from a revealing moment in Alhassan’s marriage. She noticed her husband began sending unusually sweet messages. However, they looked almost scripted, like “whatever you want dear” and “all done, my darling.”
As Alhassan shared the texts with her colleague, Sarah Curtis, the two Dubai-based communications experts realised that many men struggle to express themselves thoughtfully in relationships.
This brought about the creation of Good Husband, an AI-powered platform that helps husbands craft empathetic, respectful, and solution-focused responses to their wives’ messages. The app had its first version created in 24 hours after it was initially built using Claude AI.

How the ‘Good Husband’ AI App Works
Users are expected to input a message from their wife, and then Good Husband generates three tailored response options:
- Warm: Gives empathetic and emotionally supportive responses
- Direct: For responses that are clear and solution-oriented
- Your Voice: For responses personalised to sound like the user
Users can also edit and personalise the suggestions before sending, to ensure responses remain real while improving communication quality.
The platform emphasises that it’s not replacing genuine interaction but helping men who genuinely care to pause, reflect, and respond more effectively.
Alhassan and Curtis are co-founders of POP Communications, a Dubai-based social media, public relations, and influencer marketing agency. They noted that women often turn to friends or family for relationship advice. On the other hand, many men hesitate to seek help or just freeze in difficult moments. The app provides a judgment-free space to build stronger habits.
“We know firsthand the kind of responses that help someone feel heard, understood and reassured,” Alhassan explained in a report by Khaleej Times.
The co-founders stress that Good Husband was created to serve as a guide, not a replacement for personal judgment.
Good Husband comes in three tiers including the free version for introductory access, ‘Good Husband’ ($9/month) and ‘Great Husband’ ($19/month) which comes with unlimited conversations, coaching mode, reminders, and premium tools.

The plans also include a dedicated mobile app and WhatsApp integration for seamless use.
This app not only bridges communication gaps in marriages but also showcases Nigerian talent contributing to global solutions for everyday challenges in relationships.
