Mayowa Lambe has issued a strict cease-and-desist order against her ex-husband, Nigerian media personality Roby Ekpo, demanding an apology, a public retraction, and ₦100 million in damages over his recent viral interview.
The US-based woman served Roby Ekpo a cease-and-desist letter through Aunt Landa’s Bethel Foundation after Ekpo publicly accused her of infidelity, financial strain, and deceiving him about contraceptive use and fertility procedures during their ten-year marriage.
Mayowa Lambe, who recently remarried in the United States, issued a final notice strongly refuting Roby Ekpo’s claims, stating that his allegations have subjected her to intense online trolling and reputational damage.
Her legal representatives made it clear that the media personality has carried out a deliberate campaign of falsehood across public shows to tarnish her reputation.

“It has come to our attention that you have engaged in a deliberate and sustained campaign of falsehood, using online platforms and public broadcasts, including Honest Bunch, to spread fabricated narratives.”
To completely refute Ekpo’s claims, Mayowa Lambe insisted that no marital relationship exists between them. She also disclosed that she has verifiable medical records, evidence of financial responsibility, and documentation of relocation assistance.
Her legal team gave him a strict three-day ultimatum and immediate legal action if he ignored their demands.
Many Nigerians have expressed mixed reactions to the development, with some defending Ekpo and others calling for a private resolution.
A lawyer on X @BolanleCole, reacted to the ongoing Mayowa Lambe and Roby Ekpo dispute and cited a ₦100 million suit linked to their marriage issues.
He stated that he intends to contact the United States Embassy over allegations of a fraudulent marriage tied to immigration benefits. The lawyer offered to represent Roby Ekpo and described the case as one that requires justice, which sparked mixed reactions online.
