The statement, signed by the administrator of the Funke Felix-Adejumo Matrix Centre, explained that the photograph used in the viral reports came from her matriculation ceremony.

“The photo she recently shared on her social media platforms was a throwback to her matriculation ceremony, not a graduation or completion ceremony. She is still a law student and remains committed to her academic journey with dedication and excellence. We kindly encourage everyone to verify information before sharing it, so we can all help prevent the spread of misinformation.”

The clarification puts an end to speculation about her academic status and confirms her continued pursuit of a law degree. Her management team also urged the public to double-check information before sharing it to avoid the spread of false reports.
