Apple has announced that Nigerians who subscribe to iCloud+ will get free access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade, with the iCloud+ plan starting at N1,300 per month for 50GB of storage in September.
Apple brings Apple TV to Nigerian consumers
This marks the first time Apple TV will become available to consumers in Nigeria, giving iCloud+ subscribers access to Apple’s portfolio of original films, documentaries and television shows, alongside cloud storage and gaming services.
The launch ends Apple’s separate subscription model for the two services as the company expands its digital services offering to Nigerians. 
“We are excited to bring Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users in over 100 countries in one convenient subscription,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services and Health.
Apple expands iCloud+ services for Nigerians
The enhanced subscription will allow users to back up, store and share content across their devices, while also giving them access to Apple TV shows and more than 200 Apple Arcade games.
Apple said consumers who currently pay separately for Apple TV or Apple Arcade will continue to enjoy uninterrupted access through their iCloud+ membership, while Apple will cancel their previous individual subscriptions.
The company also said it will preserve game progress and saved games from Apple Arcade during the transition.

Apple expands iCloud+ to over 100 countries
Apple plans to roll out the extended iCloud+ product in more than 100 countries and regions by the end of September.
The expansion will bring Apple TV to 59 more countries, taking the service’s global availability to 170 countries.
For Nigerian users, the addition of Apple TV and Apple Arcade will transform iCloud+ from a cloud-storage service into a broader digital entertainment bundle.
Apple offers Nigerian users Apple Music discount
Apple is also giving iCloud+ subscribers a discount on Apple Music.
Nigerian customers can subscribe to Apple Music for N1,500 per month for an individual plan or N2,500 per month for a family plan.
Aside from entertainment, iCloud+ will continue to offer additional storage and premium features, including event creation through Apple Invites and stronger privacy controls.
As part of the restructure, Nigerians will no longer purchase Apple TV and Apple Arcade as separate subscriptions. Apple will link access to both services to its cloud-storage platform.
Apple noted that individual iCloud+, Apple TV and Apple Arcade features and content may not be available in every country, region or device.
