Based on their 2025 ticket revenues, here are the top-performing cinemas in Nigeria, ranked from highest to lowest.

1. Silverbird Cinema – Ikeja, Lagos

Silverbird Ikeja tops the list as the highest-grossing cinema in Nigeria in 2025. Its Lagos location, with the population of people in the city, definitely works in its favour. In 2025, it generated an impressive ₦1,117,332,000, making it the country’s box office best.

2. EbonyLife Cinema – Lagos

Coming in second is EbonyLife Cinemas, a single-location powerhouse that proves you don’t need multiple branches to rake in serious revenue. The cinema brought in N1,086,316,500 in 2025.

3. FilmHouse Lekki – Lagos

FilmHouse Lekki continues to dominate when it comes to the best cinema houses in Lagos. It seats more than 300 people. In 2025, it pulled in 1,084,707,650, making it the third highest grossing in Nigeria.

4. FilmHouse Surulere – Lagos

FilmHouse Surulere is one of the biggest cinemas in Lagos, with eight screens and a steady crowd all year round. In 2025, it made ₦662,534,550 from ticket sales, making it one of the top earners in the country.

5. Genesis – Port Harcourt

Genesis in Port Harcourt is the highest earner outside Lagos. The six-screen cinema is known for its good viewing experience and modern setup. It pulled in ₦586,985,000 in 2025, showing that movie lovers in the South-South show up strong.

6. Silverbird Jabi Lake Mall Cinema – Abuja

No way the country’s capital won’t make the list. The cinema has five screens and therefore attracts a mix of Nollywood and Hollywood fans. In 2025, it earned ₦486,901,600 from ticket sales.

7. Genesis – Festival Mall, Lagos

Genesis at Festival Mall continues to hold its own in Lagos. With comfortable seating and good sound, it brought in ₦452,873,000 in 2025.

8. Genesis – Benin City

Genesis Benin City proves that the cinema business is not only booming in Lagos and Abuja. The four-screen cinema made ₦435,216,000 in 2025.

9. FilmHouse Ikota – Lagos

FilmHouse Ikota remains a strong spot for moviegoers in Lagos. It recorded ₦429,540,000 in ticket revenue in 2025.

10. FilmHouse Samonda – Ibadan

FilmHouse Samonda in Ibadan rounds up the list. It made 384,761,900 in 2025, showing that cinema culture is growing beyond Lagos.
