The man recounted how he rushed towards the President as he was concluding his address to beneficiaries of the Nyota Fund in Mandera, admitting he fell on the carpet before the President and was subsequently removed by security personnel.

The situation escalated briefly when the man emerged from the crowd, prompting immediate intervention from security officers who restrained him, leading to a momentary disruption of the President’s remarks.

He expressed regret for the disturbance his actions caused but remained hopeful about a meeting with the President.
