At the Lagos All White Party on Sunday, 21 September, an interviewer asked real estate mogul King Ochacho about his plans to give out houses on his next birthday. The interviewer asked Ochacho:
“So you said in your next coming birthday, you will be giving out three houses worth ₦1.5 billion. You said one is for Davido so who are the two other houses for?”
King Ochacho clarified that he did not mean that he would give out three houses worth ₦1.5 billion. 
He explained that he plans to hold a raffle draw on his birthday, which will give seven people the opportunity to win houses.

Ochacho Explains His Birthday Giveaway
According to Ochacho, the seven raffle winners will receive three houses, with each house worth ₦500 million. He also clarified that Davido will receive a separate house worth ₦1 billion. This means the total value of the houses will amount to ₦2.5 billion.
Ochacho also announced plans to give 75 per cent of everything God has given him in his life to charity. His announcement has drawn attention to the scale of his planned birthday giveaway and his stated commitment to charity.
“You don’t understand me. What I said is that on my birthday, I am going to do a raffle draw for seven people and they are going to win three houses. Each one is going to be worth ₦500 million. There is one for Davido separately which is ₦1 billion so all the aggregate is ₦2.5 billion. And apart from that one, everything that God has given me in my life I’m going to give 75% to charity.”
