Real estate billionaire King Ochacho has finally addressed the noise about the ₦400 million Abuja mansion he gave Peller and his wife Jarvis as a wedding gift.
Speaking at the Lagos All White Lifestyle Party 2026, Ochacho laid out exactly how and why he gifted them the house. In his explanation, he totally shut down claims that it came with strings attached.
Ochacho explained that he was in Lagos attending a wedding when he saw the young couple. He said he was moved, so he decided to bless them with a house without conditions. 
In his own words, he stressed that the gift had nothing to do with his son Ice King’s music career.
“I didn’t give them the house to come and start advertising my son. No. It’s not because of my son’s music. I just gave it to him from my heart,” he said.
He even compared it to how politicians usually operate, saying that when they give something, they expect a campaign in their favour. Ochacho insists he didn’t ask for a campaign from Peller. He said Peller chose to promote Ice King on his own, and that goodwill is what later motivated him to go an extra mile by furnishing the house.

The House Is Not Complete Yet
Ochacho confirmed that the house is still under construction. He says he’s currently working on the penthouse level, putting everything together so he can hand it over properly to the couple.
A few days earlier, Peller and Jarvis had a candid livestream moment about the property. Jarvis, who had a look of disappointment on her face, dropped the now-viral line that “the house does not have a roof.” She admitted that she was expecting complete based on how Peller described it.
Ochacho said that because Peller has been promoting Ice King willingly, he decided to furnish the house completely as an extra gesture. He says he deliberately left the interior details open so the couple can choose their own tile colours, curtain colours, and overall internal design. In other words, they get to put their personal touch on the place instead of receiving a finished house they might not fully like.
