Apostle Femi Lazarus, the lead pastor and general overseer of Light Nation Church, shared his thoughts on marriage, submission and who should lead the home.
Lazarus addressed his congregation during a church service and explained what he considers a weak man in a marriage. He said:
“Any home the woman is controlling the husband cursed is the land. If you are not going to submit don’t marry. And if you are a man and your definition of being a woke man is that a lady is telling you to your face that I don’t submit to no one and you agree to it you are a weakling. You have got no balls, you were not taught to be a man.” 
He continued:
“We need more men teaching boys how to be men not some ‘sissies’ walking about.”
Lazarus also spoke about how some boys behave, saying:
“What some boys need is high heel for us to know that they are girls.”

Apostle Femi Lazarus Speaks on Biblical Roles in Marriage
Lazarus said people should not change the roles that the Bible gives to husbands and wives. He noted:
“We don’t twist what the bible instituted. The word is the word. ‘Love your wife, wife submit to your husband.’ That’s the culture if you twist it, cursed is the land and when the land is cursed the off-spring comes out cursed.”
The pastor also warned about what he believes could happen with domestic abuse in the coming years. He said:
“In the next couple of years the kind of domestic abuse we would be hearing would me women slapping the husband. He said the devil has never eaten the next agenda for the meal.”
