Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee has come under public scrutiny after singer Jorji accused him of attempting to rape her and her girlfriend about two years ago.
Jorji made the allegation in an Instagram video. She used the video to recount what she said happened during the alleged encounter.
The allegation follows rumours that Poco Lee was arrested in the United Kingdom over a rape complaint. According to Jorji, the alleged incident happened about two years ago. She said she kept the matter private because she did not have the resources to pursue it at the time.
She also explained why she decided to speak about the matter now. Jorji said recent discussions about Poco Lee prompted her to share her experience publicly.
Singer Jorji’s Account

In her Instagram video, Jorji identified her girlfriend as the other person present during the alleged incident.
She said they visited Poco Lee because she was still building her career as an artiste. According to her, she wanted his advice and guidance as someone already established in the entertainment industry.
Jorji alleged that the situation changed during their visit. She claimed Poco Lee grabbed her inappropriately and made unwanted sexual advances. She further alleged that he tried to take her girlfriend into another room. Jorji said they both resisted his advances and eventually pushed him away before leaving.
The singer described the encounter as an attempted rape. She also said she had remained silent for about two years because she lacked the support and resources needed to pursue the matter. She also posted DMs from other ladies with the same set of allegations.

Jorji’s account remains an allegation. There has been no court finding establishing the claims against Poco Lee.
