Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, also known as Odumeje, a Nigerian priest and musician, has condemned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and urged Nigerians to reject politicians who value personal gain over public wellbeing.
The founder of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry made the statements during a recent sermon.
Odumeje encouraged Nigerians to take control of the country’s political future by voting out elected officials who have failed to improve the public living standards. 
“In 2027, we shall decide. Is it your governor, your senator or your family member that owns Nigeria, or all of us? We are no more boys; we are fathers. A person leading the people must know how to speak to the people,” he said.
Odumeje condemns Tinubu’s statement on hunger
The clergyman also criticised Tinubu’s recent statement about hunger in the country, describing them as an admission that poverty has remained a long-standing national challenge.
“Have you seen someone that doesn’t have conscience? President Tinubu confessed that even before I was born, Nigeria had been living with hunger,” he said.

Odumeje also criticised politicians who support the president, claiming that they prioritise their own interests over the country’s development.
Odumeje further alleged that prominent figures who openly support the current administration have accepted bribes.
“All the people supporting President Tinubu, thank God all of you are seeing how you are selling the future of our children because of money,” he said.
“We know all of you, as governors, as senators. I know why you are talking. It is because of yourselves, your families and what you can gather and acquire after their leadership.
“Anybody you see singing a song celebrating the latest government now is because that person is bribed.”
The cleric urged Nigerians to vote wisely, insisting that those who want Nigeria to become a better country should stand for the truth and support leaders who prioritise the nation’s progress. The priest also emphasised the need for leaders to address economic hardship and uphold political accountability ahead of the 2027 general election.
