K1 De Ultimate addressed the allegations during a live performance over the weekend. While speaking to the audience, he appeared to dismiss the claims by describing any child born from his past relationships as part of a “promo.”

The singer also claimed that he had dated many women over the years. He said he often left behind his clothes, shoes and other personal belongings whenever he ended a relationship. According to him, those items served as souvenirs to remind his former partners of him.

His statement have attracted reactions across social media. Many Nigerians have continued to debate both Ogechi’s allegations and K1 De Ultimate’s response.

In a video that recently surfaced online, K1 De Ultimate said:

“The life that I live, wherever I am, if I’m leaving that place, I will leave all the clothes and belongings I brought there. They will use them to remember me for life. It’s just like a souvenir. There are many ladies I’m no longer dating, and I have forgotten my clothes and shoes at their places. Even if she gives birth to my child, it’s a souvenir she should use to remember me all the time.”

Neither K1 De Ultimate nor Ogechi has presented publicly available evidence to prove or disprove the paternity claim.
